Hi, I’m Talissa! I am an award-winning maternity, newborn and baby photographer with a studio based in Great Dunmow, Essex.

I’ve been a professional photographer for over 10 years now. Photography has always been a passion of mine, but I have to admit, I never expected it to become my career! It was a happy accident!

I was very happy working as a fundraiser for my local air ambulance charity when my husband Jonathan got offered a job in Geneva, Switzerland! It was an offer too good to refuse so we packed our bags and moved abroad! It was quite the adventure for us, so although I was sad to leave my job, it was all very exciting!

While living in Geneva I spent a lot of my time talking photographs of the beautiful scenery. A friend saw my photographs and asked me if I would take photos at her wedding! I absolutely loved it and that was when I decided to to train to be a professional photographer.

After 3 years focusing primarily on wedding photography my daughter was born in 2017, which was the turning point for me specialising in maternity, newborn and baby photography.

She was changing every day and I wanted to capture every detail and help other families turn their precious memories into beautiful pieces of art! Your family deserved stunning wall art, print boxes and albums to look at everyday to bring your memories to life!

As a Qualified Member of the Guild of Newborn and Baby Photographers and professionally trained by some of the best maternity and newborn photographers in the industry, my goal is to create award-winning photographs for you and your family to treasure.

In February 2025 – I was awarded – Newborn Image of the Year – Runner Up, which was a massive achievement! Shortly after this in March 2025 I was delighted to find out I had won Maternity Photographer of the Year for the second year running with the London & South East Prestige Awards.
